What's New?NOVEMBER 7 JULY 7 JULY 5 I have currently updated my poseable want list, at the top of my list is the Treat Heart Pig poseable. If anyone has any info or wants to sell one please contact me at poseableplace@hotmail.com JUNE 7 The promised Spring Care Bear wiki has been put off for a little while. I have been getting a great deal of emails concerning the wiki and I regret to say that my site administrator (i.e. my husband) is finishing his Master's Degree and is too busy to be able to set it up. It will happen though I promise!

UPDATE: I have recieved these in the mail and they are terribly interesting! I plan on making a page about them sometime in the future. Keep checking back! DEC 19 The great month of December is a perfect time to give to your favorite local charities. What I like to do is grab a toy that I would have liked as a child, or something that I would like now and place it in the toys for tots bin. Each time I do so I hope that someday that child can live with their fond toy memories as I do. Remember, toys never let you down, they never grow old and they never grow tired of bringing smiles to people! SEPT 12 Wow! While browsing around last night I found these new poseables from Brazil. There is even a cloud car! They apparently used the 1980's tooling to make these and notice there are no kiss curls. They are titled: Coleção Ursinhos Carinhosos. Unfortunately this web site does not ship to the United States. I am currently working feverishly to find someone within Brazil to ship them to me. Goodluck to everyone else who wants these! I will be posting pictures and making a page for them soon (which usually means sometime in the next decade!) UPDATE: I found a way to purchase these and I am highly pleased with their quality. They are among my favorites! Anyone can purchase these on EBay from the seller emporium brazil. AUG 21 Because of repeated junk emails I have had to close down my old email address. Because of this, it will be difficult for site goers to contact me. I am in the process of creating a new email address specifically for Poseable place which I will announce as soon as I can figure out a way to beat them bad ol' robots! JUNE 15 After four fun and fabulous years, Buck 50 Toys has closed it's doors. I will now be refocusing my efforts on another toy venue. I appreciate all of my faithful customers and all they did for that site. It was so fun while it lasted! MAY 30 I just want to apologize to my faithful visitors of this site who have not seen me updating quite as much as I used to. We have been heavily entrenched in remodeling and redecorating our new house, leaving us almost zero play time. I am working very hard on placing the Environmental prototype paperwork on here for those of you who have longed and requested to see it. I am 50% done with this task and hope to have the actual page up within the next few weeks. MAY 25

This artwork was auctioned off last week on ebay. I was a beautiful preproduction rendering of the Care A Lot playset. The auction's description is as follows: "I was a designer for Kenner in the early 1980's and developed product
for Care Bears along with Strawberry Shortcake. Up for auction from my
personal files is the the original rendering (25 X 19 INCHES) presented
to Kenner management to get the go ahead on the Care a Lot playset.
Also included is an early production sample boxed for the playset, an
original Kenner inter office write up for the Care Bear line that was
passed out at the meeting. Original drawings inclued for the elevations
of the playset that were used by the model maker to start creating this

It seems silly but I have been putting off creating the pages of the Poseable Prototypes for Loyal Heart Dog, Proud Heart Cat, Playful Heart Monkey and Treat Heart Pig. I finally got those done tonight. I have lots of pictures and info! See the pages 
I have recently purchased a large lot of poseables from Argentina that were produced sometime in the 1980's! They are funny variations of certain charcters using substandard paint and plastic. Nevertheless they are very interesting! I can't wait to get them! Many of these can be found on Macado Libre, Ebay's South America Site. Because of the language and payment barrier it is hard for americans to purchase from the site. You are required to pay with a South American Credit Card. Luckily my husband speaks spanish! So far I know of the following characters: Grumpy, Goodluck, Friend, Tan with green heart, Tan with blue heart, pink with blue heart. I thank my good galpal LadyLovelyLocks (Forrest Of Feeling Board) for alerting me to these cutie pies! 
This item was also purchased via BIN by the same buyer for $262.50. Congrats Vit! Here is the info on this bear: "This auction is for a first shot prototype for a vintage Kenner Care Bear Poseable figure. This example has a pink head and body, yellow arms and peach legs. It has no copyright markings on it at all. There is text on the back of the head that reads CPG-EXSP-FWF, I don't think this is production text and was likely marked on the head to keep track of it. It is a bit dirty and has some dark marks, but is overall in amazing condition. The color combination is amazing and is very unique.
First shots are used to test the steel molds before a toy goes into full production. Often the molds are not shot in the correct colors are whatever color is in the machine at the time is used. When this happens you get a very interesting prototype such as this one.
Care Bear prototypes are very rare and multi-colored ones are almost unheard of.
I acquired this piece directly for a Kenner employee myself and it is 100% authentic"
Wow! What a shocker! The MIP Grumpy Poseable with Dumbrella ends for a whopping $310.55 on eBay today! It's official folks! The dumbrella has sidestepped over the Friendly Sprinkler as the most rare of the accessories! Of course there have only been 3 MIP grumpy items for four years, so I suppose this would go high for all those poseable collectors out there. Well jana1, congrats on the win!
